Coming in a slim bar design, very similar with most Samsung’s Smartphone models, the new Samsung i200 is expected in European stores in June, with several unique characteristics, compared with other phones coming from the same company.

Among the improvements we find the Windows Mobile 6.1 operating system, Office Mobile suite with Excel, Word, Powerpoint and Outlook, an intuitive user interface with direct access to the most important section of the menus, HTML email format, editing features such as cut, copy and paste, and pop-up email alerts.

This 11.8 mm thick compact Smartphone sports a 2.3-inch QVGA TFT glossy display of 262K colors, and provides up to 3.6Mbps transfer speeds via HSDPA connectivity. Another new feature is the light sensor which reduces power consumption, adjusting the display brightness and the luminosity of the keypad.
There is also a built-in 2MP camera, a music player, tri-band support, Bluetooth 2.0+EDR, 25MB internal memory, microSD card slot, mobile printing support, and a 1100mAh battery providing up to 4 hours of talk time and 360 hours of standby.

Samsung announced the launch of Samsung i200, slim and compact smartphone.Supporting the Windows Mobile 6.1, Samsung i200 provides functional and practical features in business. FOMA F1100 Cell Phone with Fingerprint Sensor

Fujitsu FOMA F1100 is not the first cell phone that adopts AuthenTec’s fingerprint readering technology for securing the data stored in the handset; Asus was the first to use the AES1710 module for the M356 Smartphone, but it is though the first model released by NTT DoCoMo to feature Windows Mobile 6 operating system and the fingerprint sensor.

In Japan, FOMA F1100 users will have access to Mobile Office documents, HSDPA high-speed transfers, built-in camera for pictures, microSD expansion slot, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, IP telephony, and a large 2.6-inch QVGA touch-sensitive display.

Velocity Mobile Enters Windows Mobile Smartphone Market With 103, 111

Velocity Mobile has launched a couple of new smartphones at CTIA in Las Vegas, placing a strong emphasis on ease-of-use, sleek and attractive design, and high-end features - points that customers are always looking out for. The two handsets are the Velocity 103 and Velocity 111. The Velocity 103 and 111 will be available unlocked in Q2 and Q3, respectively.Running Windows Mobile 6.1 Pro, the 111 has a 320 x 240 QVGA touchscreen while the 103 has a 640 x 480 VGA touchscreen; both use the Qualcomm Mobile Station Modem MSM7201 chipset, have 256MB ROM, 128MB RAM and microSD expansion.

The 103 has a 2.8-inch touchscreen with 640×480 resolution, Wi-Fi, AGPS, and no keyboard. The 111 has a front-facing keyboard, which cuts the resolution down to 320×240 on a 2.46-inch screen. This also has Wi-Fi and AGPS. Both phones have a 2-megapixel back camera and a 0.3-megapixel front video camera for conferencing.
