LG Releases U990 Viewty

In a slick three-inch design of sheer innovativeness, the LG u990 Viewty proves to be a formidable opponent in the touchscreen mobile phone arena.


On top of its array of messaging functions, the LG u990 demotes most phones to antique level with its whopping 5-megapixel camera on a 256k LCD display - and that’s merely at onset. The u990’s hi-end camera advances another step with its Schneider-Kreuznach flash lens framed with a jog wheel that enables users to manually control the zoom lens. This multi-functional jog wheel also doubles as a scroll operating as an alternative to the touchscreen.

The finger-touch-controlled phone is equipped with a 3G HSDPA capacity, MicroSD expansion capability (aside from its 90MB internal memory), and multimedia features of music, video playlist, and FM radio.
