Sprint announce green LG Rumor to celebrate St Patrick’s

Sprint announced LG Rumor as the Official Wireless Phone of St. Patrick’s Day. Not only does it feature a new green color scheme, but it also comes in environmentally friendly packaging. This popular handset features a slide-out QWERTY keyboard in addition to the standard numeric keypad found on the front of the device.

The guts of the green Rumor are the same as its rainbow-hued brethren, of course: a 1.3-megapixel camera, microSD slot, GPS with Sprint’s Navigator package and Bluetooth. Sprint also include a prepaid envelope for you to send in your old handset, which gets recycled through the Project Connect scheme; they use proceeds to fund internet safety classes for young people.
